K4 Time!

Now the weather is warmer, time to get those boats dusted off and get out and enjoy the lovely views on Lake Wendouree!

The K4 was out on the water today…magic evening, a bit of banter, a few little efforts, and some good times had by all.

Paddling Supervisor Training

The Ballarat Canoe Club is organising for several people to become qualified as ‘Paddling Supervisors’ within the next few weeks, exact dates will be finalised as soon as Anna knows how many people are interested. If you are interested in becoming a paddling supervisor, please get in contact with Anna on 0458 385 140 as soon as possible.

Paddle Power on 13/04/2019

PaddlePower is an introductory program for 7-15 year olds to experience a day of paddling. It is run from the Ballarat Canoe Club on Saturday the 13th of April 2019. Parents are welcome. Registration can be done on the Paddle Victoria website / Paddle Power / Holiday Program

Paddlers needed for ‘Swim 2 Rings’

The Ballarat Triathlon Club is organising ‘Swim 2 Rings on Sunday the 24th of March 2019. They need experienced paddlers to follow the swimmers and assist in case they need help by being present and attracting the attention of a life boat/tiny. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Anna (president) or Tim (secretary) for more details.

club race/training on 26/02/2019

All club members welcome  to participate in the race training sessions. They take place on Tuesdays at 5.45 pm for a 6 pm start.

Tuesday the 26/02/2019 is a try out night for K4 or K2. come and try them with experienced paddlers.

This activity may occur on any calm (not windy) Tuesday night, if we have a number of experienced paddlers to take out less experienced paddlers.
